Frequently Asked Questions

Which Weight Should You Choose?

The right dumbbell weight depends on your exercise, training experience and the number of repetitions you want to perform.

For general home fitness, lighter dumbbells can be useful for movements such as raises and controlled upper-body exercises, while heavier pairs can provide more resistance for exercises such as curls, presses and lower-body movements.

If you are building a home dumbbell collection, choosing several weight options can give you more flexibility across different exercises.

What are neoprene dumbbells?

Neoprene dumbbells are fixed-weight hand weights with a coated exterior designed to provide a comfortable surface for gripping. The FK Sports model has a solid cast iron core and hexagonal shape.

Are neoprene dumbbells good for home workouts?

Neoprene dumbbells are a practical fixed-weight option for home workouts because they are compact and available in multiple weights. They can be used for a range of resistance and fitness exercises.

Are these adjustable dumbbells?

No. These are fixed-weight dumbbells. Each pair has a set weight selected when ordering.

What is the difference between neoprene dumbbells and adjustable dumbbells?

Neoprene dumbbells are fixed-weight pairs, while adjustable dumbbells allow you to change the resistance using removable weights or plates. Neoprene dumbbells are simpler to pick up and use, while adjustable dumbbells can provide more weight flexibility from one set.

Are these dumbbells suitable for beginners?

The range includes lighter options from 1kg per dumbbell, giving beginners and users who prefer lighter resistance several options to choose from. The appropriate weight depends on the individual exercise and training needs.
